Opening the evening is the Les DeMerle Sound 67, inspired by a remarkable musical rediscovery. The project brings to life music from Les DeMerle’s first recording made in 1967, a recording that was thought lost until it was rediscovered in 2023. Today, that exciting sound lives again in a dynamic performance that blends the energy of classic jazz with the artistry of today’s outstanding musicians, making it the perfect prelude to The Four Freshmen.
